Well, I’ve always been curious about the 22 Iching. So, I set out on a journey to find the best places to learn it. First off, I started with the internet. I searched through tons of websites, reading blogs and forums where people shared their experiences of learning the Iching.
Some websites had really in – depth articles written by so – called “experts”, but a lot of them were just full of jargon that I couldn’t understand. It was like trying to read a foreign language! I skimmed through pages and pages, clicking on links to different resources, but most of them didn’t seem very reliable.
Then, I thought, why not go to local bookstores? I visited a few nearby ones, browsing through the shelves. I looked for books on the Iching, and I found some. But the problem was, the books were either too academic or too simplistic. I picked up one, flipped through the pages, and put it back because it didn’t meet my needs.
Next, I decided to check out some local cultural centers. I called a few of them, asking if they had any courses on the Iching. One of them said they did have a beginner’s course coming up. I signed up right away. When I attended the course, I met some really interesting people. The teacher explained the basic concepts of the Iching in a way that was easy to understand. We discussed different hexagrams and played around with some simple divination methods.
Another place I explored was a temple dedicated to traditional Chinese culture. There, I spoke with the monks. They gave me some insights into the spiritual and philosophical aspects of the Iching. They shared some ancient texts and taught me how to approach the study with respect and an open mind.
In the end, I realized that learning the 22 Iching is a multi – faceted journey. You can’t just rely on one source. The internet can give you a wide range of information, but you need to sift through it. Local bookstores can have some good resources, but you have to be picky. Cultural centers and temples can offer unique perspectives and hands – on learning experiences.
So, if you’re looking to learn the 22 Iching, don’t be afraid to explore different places. Each place has its own charm and can contribute to your understanding of this ancient wisdom.
