Second way: Stand up for myself
When those office politics started getting out of hand, I decided to have a chat with my boss. I told him what was going on and showed him all the work I’d done. He was really understanding, and he made sure that everyone got the credit they deserved. It was like shining a light on the dark corners of the office.
Third way: Communicate better with my boss
I started having regular meetings with my boss to make sure I understood what he wanted. I asked him lots of questions and made sure we were on the same page. This way, I didn’t have to worry about the goalpost changing all the time. It was like having a map to follow in the maze of work.
After doing all these things, I noticed a huge difference. I was getting more work done, and I was feeling a lot less stressed. I was actually starting to enjoy my job again!
