Part of Fortune in Pisces Career Tips: Achieve Your Goals!

Part of Fortune in Pisces Career Tips: Achieve Your Goals!

Man, I remember being totally lost, years ago. I mean, truly adrift. I was working a pretty standard gig, you know, the one where everyone says, “Oh, that’s a good, stable job.” And yeah, it paid the bills, it had decent benefits, all that jazz. But every single morning, I’d wake up with this heavy feeling, like a brick in my stomach. I’d sit at my desk, staring at reports, and just feel this immense disconnect. It felt like I was watching someone else live their life, and that someone wasn’t me.

I was good at the job, don’t get me wrong. I could crunch numbers, hit targets, do the whole corporate dance. But inside, I was just hollow. Like an empty shell. I kept thinking, “Is this it? Is this what I’m supposed to do until retirement?” That thought alone was enough to make me want to just run for the hills. I knew deep down there was something else, something more, but I had absolutely no clue what it was. I spent so many evenings just staring at the ceiling, wondering if I was crazy to feel so unfulfilled when, on paper, everything looked fine.

The frustration just kept piling up. It got to a point where I couldn’t ignore it anymore. One night, after another particularly soul-sucking day, I was just scrolling aimlessly online, looking for anything that might explain what was wrong with me. I wasn’t looking for career advice; I was looking for a reason why my soul felt so out of whack. And that’s when I stumbled onto some random blog talking about astrology, not the daily horoscope stuff, but the deeper charts, planetary placements, all that. And then I saw it: “Part of Fortune.” I went down that rabbit hole, looking up my own chart, and there it was, loud and clear: “Part of Fortune in Pisces.”

It hit me like a cold splash of water. The description talked about finding true joy, success, and abundance through compassion, creativity, intuition, and often, by dissolving the rigid boundaries of what success “should” look like. It talked about service, about connecting with something larger than myself. It was like someone had finally put words to that chaotic, nagging feeling that had been swirling inside me for years. It explained why the corporate grind felt so wrong, why my soul was craving something more ethereal, more connected.

I was skeptical, naturally. I mean, astrology? Me, the spreadsheet guy? But what did I have to lose at that point? My soul was already feeling like a dried-up husk. So, I decided to actually try applying some of these vague, “Piscean” ideas to my life. I started small, really small.

  • First, I started listening to my gut. Not just for work decisions, but for everything. If something felt off, even if it made logical sense, I paused. I gave myself permission to feel things, to trust that inner whisper. It was uncomfortable at first, because my logical brain was screaming at me to ignore it.

  • Then, I began dedicating time to creative expression. I dug out some old paints, just cheap watercolors, and started messing around. No pressure to create a masterpiece, just to enjoy the process. It was purely for myself, a way to tap into that creative flow that had been totally shut down.

  • I also started looking for ways to genuinely help people, outside of any work obligation. I volunteered at a local animal shelter for a few hours a week. It wasn’t glamorous, just cleaning cages and walking dogs. But there was something incredibly fulfilling about it. It tapped into a well of compassion I didn’t even realize I had.

  • The hardest part was letting go of the “shoulds.” I had to consciously dismantle the idea that success meant a corner office, a fancy title, and a specific income bracket. That was terrifying. My family was like, “Are you having a mid-life crisis?” Friends were openly questioning my sanity. “Are you just going to paint watercolors forever?” they’d ask, half-jokingly, half-seriously.

It wasn’t a smooth road, not by a long shot. There were days I felt completely overwhelmed, doubting everything. I almost quit the volunteer work. I almost put the paints away. The financial squeeze was real for a bit too, as I pulled back from some of the more high-pressure, high-paying aspects of my old job. But every time I felt that pull to go back to the “safe” path, that dull, hollow ache would return, reminding me why I started this journey in the first place.

Embracing the Flow, Achieving the Unforeseen

Slowly, ever so slowly, things started to shift. By following that intuitive pull, that desire to connect, to create, to serve, I found myself drawn to a completely different kind of role. It wasn’t a job I’d ever even considered before. It involved a lot of soft skills, a lot of connecting with people on a deeper level, helping them articulate their visions, and solving problems in a genuinely creative way. It felt less like “work” and more like living my purpose.

I eventually started a small online platform, a community for creators where they could share their art, their stories, and support each other. It wasn’t about making a quick buck; it was about fostering connection and creativity. That seemingly small step opened up doors I never would have imagined. People started approaching me, not for my old corporate skills, but because they saw the passion and the genuine desire to help. I found myself consulting for non-profits, helping them craft their messages, build their online presence, and connect with their audience. It was deeply fulfilling.

The “goals” I achieved weren’t about a massive salary or climbing to the top of some corporate ladder. They were about waking up every day with a genuine sense of enthusiasm, feeling like what I did truly mattered, and experiencing a profound sense of inner peace. It wasn’t about forcing my way through obstacles; it was about learning to flow with the current, to trust that intuitive nudge. That’s when I truly understood what that “Part of Fortune in Pisces” was trying to tell me. It wasn’t a prescription for a specific job title, but a compass pointing towards a way of living and working that integrated compassion, creativity, and intuition into my everyday life.
