Well, I’ve always been curious about tarot cards. So, I decided to put them to the test myself. First, I bought a tarot card deck from a local store. It was a pretty standard deck with all the classic cards.
Then, I set up a little space in my room where I could do the readings in peace. I cleaned the area with some sage, you know, just to get rid of any bad vibes. I sat down, shuffled the cards like I’d seen in the movies, and drew a card for a simple yes – no question I had in mind: “Will I get a promotion at work soon?”
The card I pulled was the “The Sun.” Now, I looked up what it meant in the guidebook that came with the deck. It said something about success, happiness, and positive outcomes. I thought to myself, “Wow, this is looking good!”

Over the next few weeks, I kept doing these little readings. I asked questions about different aspects of my life, like relationships and health. Each time, I drew a card and interpreted it according to the guidebook.
But here’s the thing. Sometimes, the results seemed to match what was going on in my life. For example, when I was feeling really down about a fight with a friend, I pulled a card that talked about conflict and resolution. It made me think maybe there was something to this tarot stuff.
However, there were also times when the cards didn’t seem to make any sense at all. I asked about an upcoming trip, and I got a card that seemed to suggest a completely different situation. I wondered if I was just misinterpreting the cards or if they really weren’t that reliable.
To get a better idea, I talked to some people who were into tarot. One of them told me that tarot is more about self – reflection than predicting the future. They said that the cards can act as a mirror to our subconscious thoughts and feelings. Another person, a skeptic, argued that it’s all just a bunch of random symbols with no real meaning.
In the end, after all my experiments and discussions, I still can’t say for sure if tarot cards are reliable. Sometimes, they seem to hit the nail on the head, and other times, they’re way off. Maybe it’s a combination of how we interpret them and a bit of luck. But one thing’s for sure, it’s been a fun journey exploring the world of tarot!
