At first, I got a job under a Pisces boss. I was kinda nervous, ’cause I didn’t know what to expect. I mean, bosses are bosses, right? But this one was a Pisces, and I’d heard they were a bit different.
I started by trying to figure out what made my Pisces boss tick. I observed him closely. He often seemed lost in his own thoughts, daydreaming a lot. I realized he was super creative. He’d come up with these wild ideas for projects that no one else had thought of.
When it came to work, I found out he was really sensitive. I remember one time I made a small mistake in a report. Instead of yelling at me, he looked a bit sad and disappointed. That made me feel really bad. So, I quickly fixed the mistake and apologized. He forgave me right away, but I knew I had to be more careful.
I also learned that he was very empathetic. One of my colleagues was going through a tough time at home. The boss noticed and gave her some time off without hesitation. He even checked in on her later to see how she was doing. That was really nice of him.
To work well with him, I started to communicate in a more gentle way. I didn’t just throw facts at him. I told him stories and painted pictures with my words. For example, when I was pitching a new project, I didn’t just list the numbers. I told him how it could change our company’s future, like a cool adventure.
Another thing I did was to be patient. Sometimes, he’d take a long time to make a decision. He’d weigh all the options and think about the feelings of everyone involved. I just waited and gave him the space he needed.
As time went on, I got better at working with him. We had some really great projects together. I realized that understanding his Pisces traits, like his creativity, sensitivity, and empathy, was the key to a successful working relationship. And now, I’m pretty confident in working with him and even enjoy it.
