Well, I’ve always been curious about the I Ching, so I decided to figure out how to use the 45 I Ching effectively. First, I went to the bookstore and grabbed a simple guidebook about the I Ching. I sat down at my desk and started flipping through it, trying to understand the basic concepts.
Then, I got myself a set of I Ching coins. I remember the first time I held those coins in my hand, thinking, “Okay, let’s do this!” I followed the steps in the book to cast the coins. I shook them in my hands, took a deep breath, and then tossed them on the table. It was kind of exciting, like I was unlocking some ancient secret.
After casting the coins, I had to find the corresponding hexagram in the book. This part was a bit tricky at first. The symbols in the I Ching are not exactly easy to read. But I kept at it, comparing the lines on the table with the ones in the book. Once I found the right hexagram, I started reading the explanation.
At the beginning, the explanations seemed a bit cryptic. I was like, “What on earth does this mean?” So, I decided to do some research online. I found some forums where people were discussing their experiences with the I Ching. I read a lot of posts, and some of the interpretations from other people really helped me understand better.

I started using the I Ching in my daily life. Whenever I had a decision to make, like whether to take on a new project at work or go on a trip, I’d cast the coins. I’d think about the advice from the I Ching and how it related to my situation. Sometimes, the advice was spot – on, and it gave me the confidence to make a choice.
As I kept using the I Ching, I also noticed that it made me more reflective. I’d think about my actions and the possible consequences more deeply. It was like having an ancient wise friend guiding me through life’s ups and downs.
One time, I was really stressed about a job interview. I cast the coins, and the hexagram I got seemed to tell me to stay calm and be myself. I followed that advice, and the interview went surprisingly well. I got the job!
Over time, I’ve become more comfortable with using the 45 I Ching. It’s not a magic solution to all problems, but it’s a great tool for self – reflection and getting a different perspective. And according to some experts, the I Ching has been used for thousands of years, so there must be something to it. It’s been a fun and rewarding journey, and I’m still learning more about it every day.
