Well, I started this journey of developing the qualities of the empress archetype in myself out of curiosity. I first did a bit of research on what the empress archetype actually means. From what I found, an empress is seen as powerful, confident, and in control. So, I set out to work on these qualities.
I began by working on my confidence. I started small, like trying to speak up more in group conversations. At first, it was tough. My heart would race when I wanted to say something, but I pushed myself. I remember one time at a work meeting, I forced myself to give my opinion on a project. It felt like a huge step, and the positive feedback I got made me feel a bit more confident.
Next, I focused on being more in control of my emotions. I used to get really stressed out easily, but I decided to change that. I started practicing meditation every morning. It was so hard at the beginning. My mind would wander all over the place, but I kept at it. After a few weeks, I noticed that I was calmer in stressful situations. For example, when there was a big traffic jam on my way to an important appointment, I didn’t freak out like I usually would. Instead, I just took a deep breath and waited patiently.
Then, I worked on being more powerful in my actions. I took on more responsibilities at work. I volunteered for a project that no one else wanted to do. It was a lot of work, but I was determined to make it a success. I spent long hours researching, planning, and executing. And guess what? The project turned out great, and I got recognized for my efforts.

As I went through this process, I also realized the importance of self – care. An empress takes care of herself. So, I started making time for things I loved, like reading books and taking long baths. It made me feel refreshed and more in tune with myself.
After months of working on these aspects, I can say that I’ve really developed the qualities of the empress archetype in myself. I’m more confident, in control of my emotions, and powerful in my actions. It wasn’t an easy journey, but it was definitely worth it.
