Then, I had to find places to buy these cards. I checked out local comic stores first. I walked in, asked the staff if they had any Love Live cards, and they showed me a small section. But the selection was limited. So, I also went to some hobby fairs. At these fairs, there were a lot of vendors selling all kinds of cards. I walked around, compared prices, and talked to the sellers. Some were really friendly and gave me tips on card collecting.
Set a Budget
Collecting cards can get expensive, so I set a budget. I decided how much money I could spend each month on cards. This way, I didn’t overspend. When I saw a really cool card that was a bit pricey, I had to think twice. Sometimes, I had to pass on it because it was out of my budget, but it helped me stay in control of my spending.
Join Card – Collecting Communities
I also joined some Love Live card – collecting groups on social media. In these groups, people shared their collections, traded cards, and gave advice. I posted pictures of the cards I had and asked for help identifying rare ones. Other collectors were really helpful. One time, I found out that a card I thought was common was actually quite rare, thanks to a tip from someone in the group. I also traded some duplicate cards I had for ones I didn’t have.
Keep an Eye on Promotions
Lastly, I always kept an eye on promotions. Game companies and card sellers often have special events where you can get cards at a discount or even for free. I signed up for newsletters from the official Love Live websites and followed their social media accounts. That way, I never missed out on a good deal. For example, during a holiday promotion, I got a really nice UR card for half the price.
