Well, I’ve always been curious about metaphysical counseling. So, I decided to give it a shot and see how it goes.
First, I searched online for some well – known metaphysical counselors. There were so many options, it was like trying to pick a needle in a haystack. After reading a bunch of reviews, I chose one counselor who seemed to have a lot of positive feedback.
Then, I booked an appointment with the counselor. I was a bit nervous as the day approached. When the day finally came, I showed up at their office. The place looked kind of spooky at first, with all these strange symbols on the walls.
Once we sat down, the counselor started asking me a bunch of questions about my life, my problems, and my feelings. I answered them as honestly as I could. Then, they pulled out some tarot cards and started shuffling them. It was like watching a magic show.
After shuffling the cards, they laid them out on the table and started interpreting them. They said a lot of things that sounded really deep and mysterious. Some of it made sense to me, like they were hitting on some of my hidden concerns, but some of it just sounded like a bunch of nonsense.
During the session, I asked them a few questions to try and make sense of what they were saying. They explained things in a way that was sort of hard to follow, but I tried my best to keep up.
After the session ended, I left the office feeling a bit confused. I wasn’t sure if the counseling was really effective or if it was just a bunch of hocus – pocus. So, I decided to talk to some experts about it.
I reached out to a few psychologists and people who study metaphysics. One psychologist said that metaphysical counseling might work for some people because it gives them a sense of hope and a new perspective. But they also said that there’s no real scientific evidence to back up its effectiveness. Another expert said that it’s more about the placebo effect, where people believe it works, so they feel better.
Looking back at my experience, I think it was an interesting journey. Whether it was truly effective or not, it definitely got me thinking about my life and my problems in a different way. Maybe that’s the real value of it, even if the whole tarot – card thing seems a bit wacky.
