Well, I was really into horoscopes back in 2014. I started off by getting a bunch of horoscope books about Pisces. I flipped through those books, looking for any info on career opportunities for Pisces in 2014.
I also went online and searched for different horoscope websites. I clicked around, read a whole bunch of articles, trying to find out what kind of career luck was in store for us Pisces folks. Some sites said there’d be chances in the arts, like painting or writing. Others mentioned opportunities in the helping professions, like being a counselor or a nurse.
Then I started talking to my Pisces friends. We sat down together, had some beers, and chatted about what we thought these horoscope predictions meant. We shared our own dreams and hopes for our careers. One friend was super into the idea of starting his own art studio, while another was thinking about going back to school to study psychology.

I decided to take a chance based on what I’d read. I had always liked writing, so I started sending out my writing samples to different magazines and websites. It was a lot of work. I filled out forms, attached my samples, and hit that send button over and over again. Most of the time, I got rejection emails, but I didn’t give up.
After a few months, I finally got a response from a small online magazine. They wanted to publish one of my articles! I was so excited. I revised the article, made it even better, and then they published it. That was my first real career opportunity that I felt was related to the horoscope prediction.
Looking back, it’s hard to say if the horoscope really predicted those career opportunities accurately. Maybe it was just a coincidence, or maybe it gave me the push I needed to take action. But one thing’s for sure, it was a fun and interesting experience to follow those horoscope predictions and see where they led me.
