Back in 2017, I was really into horoscopes, especially the daily ones for Pisces. I decided to test out how accurate they were, so I started my little experiment.
I began by subscribing to a few popular horoscope websites that offered daily Pisces horoscopes. Every morning, right after I woke up, I’d grab my phone and check what the stars had in store for me that day. I made a habit of jotting down the horoscope predictions in a small notebook.
Throughout the day, I’d pay close attention to my experiences, interactions, and any significant events. I was looking out for anything that might match what the horoscope had predicted. For example, if it said I’d have a lucky encounter, I’d be on the lookout for something out of the ordinary.

During the first week, I was kinda excited. I thought I’d spotted a few things that seemed to match the horoscope. Like one day it said I’d have a great conversation, and I did have a really interesting chat with a coworker. But as the days went by, I started to notice that a lot of the predictions were really vague. They could apply to just about anyone on any given day.
I kept this up for a whole month. By the end of it, I realized that only about 20% of the predictions seemed to have any real connection to what actually happened to me. That’s not a very high success rate if you ask me.
I also talked to some of my Pisces friends about it. They had similar experiences. Some of them were more willing to believe the horoscopes, but when we sat down and really analyzed the predictions, we all agreed that they were mostly just general statements.
After that month-long experiment, I came to the conclusion that daily Pisces horoscopes in 2017 weren’t very accurate. Sure, they can be fun to read and give you a little something to think about, but you shouldn’t base your day on them. As one expert put it, “Horoscopes are more for entertainment than for making serious life decisions.” And I gotta say, I agree with that.
