More importantly, I rediscovered the joy of creation, of seeing a tangible result from sustained effort.
Now, when I hit a wall at work or with another personal project, I remember that old PC sitting in the corner, humming away, doing its job. It reminds me that challenges are just opportunities to learn, to grow, and to actually build that future, piece by painstaking piece, right now.
