Next Week Pisces Career Horoscope: Big Moves?

Next Week Pisces Career Horoscope: Big Moves?

Alright, so this whole “Next Week Pisces Career Horoscope: Big Moves?” thing got me thinking, right? I mean, I don’t usually pay much mind to horoscopes, but sometimes you just stumble on something that just hits a nerve, you know? It wasn’t even the exact words, it was more the vibe of it. Big moves. Career. And my sign being Pisces, which always makes me feel a bit… dreamy? Maybe too dreamy for “big moves.” But it kinda lit a fire under me, a quiet one, at first.

I remember just sitting there, coffee in hand, staring at the screen, and that phrase just kept looping in my head. “Big moves.” What are my big moves? Have I even made any lately? And honestly, the answer was a big, fat, nope. I felt stuck. Not terribly unhappy, but definitely stuck in a rut. So, right then and there, I decided, alright, let’s just see what that means for me. This isn’t about astrology, it’s about kicking my own butt into gear.

My first step was really simple: I just started to write stuff down. Grabbed an old notebook, not even a fancy one, just a cheap spiral one, and a pen. And I just free-flowed. What did I actually want? It felt messy. A mix of dreams, practical worries, things I hated about my current gig, things I loved. I wrote down the stupid stuff too, like “more sleep” alongside “learn to code Python properly.” No filtering, just getting it all out on paper. It was kinda surprising how much junk was rattling around in there once I actually gave it space.

After a couple of days of just scribbling whenever I had a moment, I started to cluster things up. I drew circles around related ideas. All the “more money,” “better benefits,” “less stress” stuff went into one bubble labeled “Current Job Gripes.” Then all the “learn new skills,” “feel more challenged,” “work on exciting projects” went into another one, “Future Me Stuff.” It wasn’t pretty, but it gave me a visual of what was going on in my head. I started to see patterns, like, “Wow, I really want to use my creative side more, but my current job is 99% spreadsheets.”

Next Week Pisces Career Horoscope: Big Moves?

Then came the slightly harder part: talking to people. I hate putting myself out there sometimes, but I knew I couldn’t figure this out in a vacuum. I picked a few trusted friends, the ones who wouldn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear. I just said, “Hey, I’m thinking about making some career changes, just exploring ideas. What do you think?” I didn’t ask for advice, exactly, but just for their perspective. One friend, who’s always been super practical, pointed out something I hadn’t even considered about my transferable skills. Another, who’s a total dreamer like me, just encouraged me to think bigger, which was exactly what I needed at that moment.

After those chats, I felt a little boost, a bit more clarity. I realized the “big move” for me wasn’t necessarily about a radical switch right now, but about exploring possibilities and building towards something. So I put together a little list of action items, nothing too overwhelming. Small steps that felt doable:

  • Update my LinkedIn profile. (It was seriously ancient.)
  • Look at job descriptions for roles that sounded interesting, even if I wasn’t qualified yet. Just to see what skills they were asking for.
  • Sign up for a free online course in that Python thing I kept writing down. Just to dip my toe in.
  • Set up coffee chats with two people in industries I was curious about. (This felt like a huge leap, but I pushed myself.)

I started with the LinkedIn profile. It took me a whole evening, but man, did it feel good to finally refresh it. It was like I was cleaning out a dusty room in my career house. Then I spent a few lunch breaks just scrolling through job boards, not applying, just reading. It was eye-opening. I saw so many things I didn’t even know existed!

The online course? That was tough. I didn’t always get it, and I felt stupid sometimes. But just showing up, even for 20 minutes a day, was a win. It made me feel like I was actively doing something, not just wishing. And the coffee chats? They were actually awesome. I learned so much from just listening to people talk about their work. It wasn’t scary at all, just interesting.

So, looking back at that “Big Moves?” horoscope, it really wasn’t about some sudden, life-altering event. For me, it became about taking that internal nudge seriously. It was about actually sitting down, figuring out what was bugging me, and then taking tiny, consistent steps to explore and build something new. It’s still a journey, for sure, and I haven’t landed my “dream job” or anything, but I’m moving. And that’s the biggest move of all, really.
