Well, I’ve always been curious about the 51 hexagram. So, I started my journey to find out where I could learn about it.
First, I hit up the local bookstore. I wandered around the shelves, looking high and low. I scanned through all the books on Chinese culture and divination. I picked up a few books, flipped through the pages, and tried to find any mention of the 51 hexagram. But it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Most of the books only had a little bit of info, and it wasn’t really in – depth.
Then, I thought, “Hey, the library might be a good place.” I headed over there. I asked the librarian for help. She gave me some leads on old tomes about the I Ching. I spent hours in the library, sitting at a table, poring over these ancient – looking books. I took notes, trying to understand the context and meaning of the 51 hexagram. Some of the language was so old – fashioned that it was like trying to read a foreign language, but I kept at it.
After that, I decided to check out some local cultural centers. I signed up for a few workshops on traditional Chinese culture. In these workshops, I got to talk to other enthusiasts. We sat in a circle, sharing our thoughts and experiences. One guy there was really into the I Ching. He told me about some online forums where people discuss this kind of stuff. So, I went home and joined these forums.

On the forums, I posted questions about the 51 hexagram. I got all kinds of responses. Some people were really helpful, sharing their own interpretations and stories related to it. Others just argued with each other about the meaning. But overall, I learned a lot from these discussions. I also found some groups on social media that were focused on the I Ching. I joined those too and started following the conversations.
Finally, I found a couple of podcasts that talked about the I Ching. I’d put on my headphones and listen while I was doing chores or commuting. The hosts of these podcasts were pretty knowledgeable. They explained the 51 hexagram in a way that was easy to understand. They even gave real – life examples of how the hexagram’s principles could be applied.
Through all these efforts, I’ve managed to gather a decent amount of knowledge about the 51 hexagram. It wasn’t an easy journey, but it was definitely worth it. I’m still learning, and I’m excited to see what else I can discover about this fascinating hexagram.
