Back in 2018, I was super into horoscopes, especially for my Pisces friends and myself since I’m a Pisces too. I thought, “Hey, why not try to follow the Pisces horoscope for the whole year and see what happens?”
At the beginning of 2018, I got my hands on a few different Pisces horoscopes from various sources. Some were online, some were in magazines. I started by making a rough plan based on what they said. For example, it was said that early in the year, there would be good opportunities for self – improvement. So, I signed up for a painting class. I bought all the supplies, like paints, brushes, and canvases. I went to the class every week, trying to learn new painting techniques. It was tough at first, but I kept at it.
As the year went on, the horoscope also mentioned some social events and networking opportunities. I decided to be more active in social gatherings. I joined a local book club. I remember going to the first meeting, feeling a bit nervous. But then I started chatting with other members, and it was actually a lot of fun. I made some new friends there, and we even started a smaller reading group outside of the club.

When it came to the career part, the horoscope said there might be some minor setbacks but also chances for growth. I was working at a small company at that time. I noticed that there was a project that needed some extra hands. I volunteered to be part of it. It was a lot of hard work, with long hours and tight deadlines. But I learned a lot from it, and my boss was really impressed with my performance.
By the end of 2018, looking back at my experiences, I realized that following the horoscope wasn’t like a strict rulebook. It was more like a gentle nudge in different directions. I did have some good things happen in my life that year, like improving my painting skills, making new friends, and getting recognition at work. But I also faced some challenges that the horoscope didn’t exactly predict. Overall, it was an interesting experiment. It made me more open – minded and willing to try new things. Maybe it’s not all about what the stars say, but more about how we take the opportunities that come our way and make the most of them.
